PRECAST, BEAUTIFULLY REFINISHED

Precast coping, steps & walls.
Beautifully coordinated.

Coordinate precast pool coping, steps, walls, and caps with the pavers and stone that define your outdoor space. Elevation Surface-X brings a refined, hand-troweled finish to suitable existing concrete elements.

DESIGN BEYOND THE PATIO

The details should
belong together.

The patio may be exactly right, while the steps, coping, or wall caps feel disconnected. Resurfacing offers a way to coordinate those elements through color, texture, and a carefully detailed finish.

Work toward a close tonal match, soften a contrast, or introduce a deliberate accent. Surface-X complements the adjoining material without needing to imitate every aggregate, vein, or factory finish.

MATCH WITH INTENT

Start with the material you love.

Bring a paver or stone sample, photographs, and your preferred finish. Review physical Surface-X samples beside the adjoining material in daylight, then approve an on-site mock-up.

Hand application and lighting create variation. A coordinated palette can look beautifully unified without promising an exact factory-color match.

AT THE WATER’S EDGE

Coordinate a suitable precast bullnose, flat edge, or curved coping with a new pool deck. Preserve the underlying shape where appropriate, repair sound minor edge damage, and specify the texture and protective system for poolside exposure.

A MORE CONSIDERED ARRIVAL

Entry steps that finish the story.

Bring treads, risers, and exposed noses into the same material palette as the entrance walk. The result is a quieter transition from path to front door, with finish texture selected for the way the space is used.

THE ARCHITECTURAL FINISHING TOUCH

Walls, caps, and gathering places.

Unify exposed precast wall faces, cap units, and sitting-wall surfaces with nearby paving. Choose a tonal finish for continuity, or a deeper accent to frame planting, seating, and architectural edges.

THE MATERIAL RELATIONSHIP

Coordinate. Complement. Contrast.

Warm & tonal

Pair cream and buff paving with soft ivory or sand-toned precast finishes.

Cool & composed

Coordinate silver and grey pavers with a measured, mineral-grey coating.

Bold & architectural

Frame lighter paving with dark wall faces, caps, or pool-edge accents.

Texture with purpose

Refine the appearance while selecting traction and protection for each use.

RENEW THE CONNECTION

Keep the setting.

BUILT ON THE RIGHT FOUNDATION

A beautiful finish
starts underneath.

Precast suitability is assessed individually. Loose units, major spalling, active movement, failed repairs, or structural damage need correction before a coating is considered.

Remove incompatible coatings and contamination, prepare the surface, and establish the approved bonding and protective assembly. Retain required joints rather than bridging moving units for appearance alone.

THE DETAILS TO COORDINATE

  • Check stair dimensions, edge profiles, and finished heights.
  • Preserve coping joints, drainage, drips, and expansion details.
  • Select and verify wet-use traction where required.
  • Specify poolside exposure separately from submerged finishes.
  • Confirm substrate suitability and exterior exposure requirements.

An overlay changes the finish; it does not restore structural capacity. Waterproofing and final coating requirements depend on the approved project assembly.
